Located in the waters of the Gulf of Nicoya, it is one of Costa Rica’s most enchanting beach destinations.

Our journey starts early, but every detail is planned to make sure you enjoy the experience from beginning to end. Along the way, we’ll make a stop for breakfast so you can recharge before continuing to the pier, where we’ll board the catamaran that will take us to this tropical paradise.

Once we arrive at Tortuga Island, you’ll have approximately five hours to enjoy the beach, its crystal-clear waters, and the tropical atmosphere that makes this destination a favorite among travelers looking to unwind and enjoy the ocean. The island is known for its light-colored sandy beaches and ideal conditions for swimming and relaxing.

For those looking for a little more fun, the experience includes a game of beach volleyball, as well as a beach chair so you can comfortably enjoy your time in paradise.

And because a perfect beach day wouldn’t be complete without a delicious meal, you’ll also enjoy a tasty lunch served on the island, included as part of the experience.

After approximately five hours of beach time, we’ll say goodbye to Tortuga Island and begin our return journey by catamaran before heading back to San José. We’ll take home beautiful photos, new stories, and that wonderful feeling of having experienced a true Costa Rican pura vida day.
